Julie Nelson

Julie is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Professional Integral Coach (CPIC) and EMCC Accredited Coach Practitioner. She works with directors, executives, senior and emerging leaders across diverse organisational and cultural contexts, supporting them as they navigate complexity, change and increasing responsibility.

Her coaching helps clients step back from immediate pressures, explore what may be influencing their thinking and choices, and consider how they want to lead, influence and develop. Combining warmth with thoughtful challenge, Julie’s coaching approach encourages greater self-awareness, confidence and clarity whilst ensuring that ownership of decisions and development remains with the client. Julie brings more than 20 years of broad experience across operational and commercial leadership, learning and organisational development, people development and organisational change. Her experience encompasses private, public and charitable sectors, including global businesses, higher education, professional services, public services, retail and luxury brands. Drawing on this breadth of experience, Julie brings both strategic perspective and practical understanding to her coaching work.

Her experience includes working with leaders and organisations based in the UK, Europe, Asia, the UAE and the USA. This international exposure brings an appreciation of different organisational cultures, perspectives and ways of working within global and interconnected environments.

Bringing together executive coaching, leadership development and organisational development perspectives, she helps clients consider their individual leadership challenges within the wider organisational cultures and systems in which they operate. She supports leaders to broaden their perspective, strengthen their impact and relationships, and lead with greater clarity and intention in ways that contribute to meaningful improvement and sustainable change.

Alongside her executive and leadership coaching, Julie designs and facilitates leadership, management and personal development programmes. She draws on her experience in learning and organisational development and senior leadership to support individual, team and organisational growth. Her work also includes team coaching, bringing a systemic perspective to how teams develop, collaborate and perform.
