Nena Veber

ICF MCC Master Certified Coach | EMCC EIA Senior Practitioner Coach | EMCC ESIA Senior Supervisor | EMCC EIA Assessor | INLPTA NLP Master Coach and Trainer | IMT Intuitive Mental Trainer®

Nena Veber works at the intersection of leadership, human development and professional coaching practice. She partners with executives, leaders and senior professionals, and supports internal and external coaches in their own development. Her practice brings together international coaching and supervision experience with firsthand business leadership and a strong foundation in education.

In executive and leadership coaching, Nena helps clients explore how they lead, make decisions and respond to change within both their personal and organisational contexts. Her integrative and systemic approach connects self-awareness with the practical realities of leadership: relationships, responsibility, competing priorities and the wider environment in which decisions are made.

In individual and group supervision, she works with coaches, mentors, leaders and trainers. Together they examine client work, professional boundaries, ethical questions, contracting and the practitioner’s own responses and contribution to the process. Nena pays particular attention to reflective capacity and professional judgement, especially when the work involves complexity or uncertainty.

Her mentoring, assessment and training work extends this commitment to the development of the profession. She supports coaches as they deepen their practice, assesses coaching competencies against professional standards, and creates learning spaces where participants can connect concepts with their work and experience.

Nena brings firsthand business leadership to these conversations. She progressed through senior commercial and management roles in an international corporation to become a sector director. She later founded and led Althea, a medical centre working with elite and Olympic athletes and other clients. Today she leads IKIGAI, her independent coaching, supervision and training practice. Having been responsible for people, commercial decisions and a specialist service business, she understands organisational demands from the inside.

Educated as a professor of English and German, Nena began her career in education and founded a private language school. She developed her own approach to intuitive mental training through her work with elite sport, bringing this experience into her work with leaders and other professionals. She is the author of Zdravje in Jaz – Prijatelja.

Nena has worked across corporate and public organisations and in education, healthcare, finance, retail, IT, logistics, transport, pharmaceuticals, tourism, automotive, media, sport, and nonprofit and humanitarian contexts, among others. She works online and in person, in Slovenian, English, German, Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian.
