Team coaching is not a technique you add to your toolbox. It is a fundamentally different way of being in the room. A breakthrough conversation with one person does not automatically translate to team breakthroughs — because the system keeps regenerating the same problems. This program teaches coaches to work with teams as systems, not just individuals who happen to be in the same room.

Outcome Statement

This 4-month program certifies professional coaches in Integral Team Coaching using our integrated diagnostic system — combining Ken Wilber's 4-Quadrant framework, ontological coaching, and Lencioni's Five Dysfunctions with our proprietary dimensions. Participants learn to diagnose team dynamics, run system-level conversations, and position teams for sustainable high performance. The curriculum aligns with the 8 ICF Core Competencies and is accredited for CCE hours. By the end, participants are positioned for ACC/PCC advancement and can market team coaching as a distinct service in their practice. Delivered by ICF-credentialed coaches (MCC, PCC, ACC) with over two decades of practice across banking, technology, manufacturing, and FMCG sectors globally.

Program Structure

Preparation
We screen applicants for fit: active coaches with 300+ hours of coaching practice, committed to ongoing skill development, who see team coaching as a genuine specialization.

Module 1: Theory & Methodology (Weeks 1–2, 3 Full Days)
Deep dive into the Integral approach. We cover Ken Wilber's 4-Quadrant framework (individual, interpersonal, cultural, structural), Lencioni's Five Dysfunctions enhanced with our proprietary diagnostic dimensions, how individual psychology cascades into collective patterns. We map the ICF Core Competencies into team coaching contexts — how does "active listening" change when you are holding space for 8 people at once? Case studies from our work with hundreds of teams. By the end, participants understand both the theoretical foundation and the practical patterns.

Module 2: Coaching Skills & Practice (Weeks 3–6, 4 Full Days + Biweekly Practice Groups)
Team coaching is learned by practicing. We run live team coaching simulations with real scenarios: a team with trust deficits, a team stuck in accountability avoidance, a newly-formed cross-functional team navigating conflicting priorities. Peers observe, give feedback, instructors coach the moment. Participants practice at least 15 complex team scenarios and log 20+ hours of facilitated practice.

Module 3: Business Model & Integration (Weeks 7–10, 2 Full Days + Ongoing Mentoring)
How to market team coaching. How to structure processes. How to position team coaching as distinct from facilitation or organization development. We walk through real process models from our practice. Participants work with a mentor on their first actual team coaching process. Monthly peer learning groups keep the cohort connected.

Certification & Continuing Education

Upon completion, participants are certified in Integral Team Coaching. The program is accredited for 45+ ICF CCE hours (aligns with the 8 ICF Core Competencies). This supports advancement toward ACC/PCC, and renewal for existing credentials.

Typical Engagement

  • Duration: 4 months (3 modules + practice + mentoring + integration)
  • Format: In-person for intensive modules, hybrid for ongoing practice and mentoring
  • Cohort Size: Limited to 12 coaches per cohort (to preserve practice quality)

For Professional Coaches (Primary Audience)

This program is for coaches ready to specialize. Team coaching has different economics than 1:1 coaching — higher project values, longer processes, stronger organizational relationships. Organizations that commission team coaching want coaches with real certification and real methodology — not coaches improvising from 1:1 frameworks.

For HR/L&D Professionals (Secondary Audience)

If you are an HR professional interested in building deeper coaching expertise, this program is available as well. You will gain the theory and practice of team coaching, and you can choose whether to certify or simply sharpen your coaching acumen.
